Sire of the Year

Each year at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in March, The Danish Warmblood Breeding Commission nominates the "Sire of the Year". The owner of the stallion receives the Challenge cup of Peder Hostrup Pedersen along with a reproduction of an oil painting of the stallion.
The title "Sire of the Year" is given to a breeding stallion who has had extraordinary good results as a breedsire or thorugh own sport results in the past year.
